Where do you live?

Forest Glen

Tell us about your family?

I have a small and close family: myself, my partner and our two pups (They’ll always be pups to us). Our parents and extended families live in India. So, staying connected to them from afar is deeply important to us.

Favourite location on the Sunshine Coast?

Anything nature-based feels special to me. From the beaches to the local parks, every corner offers something beautiful. I feel grateful to live in such an incredible part of the world.

Which local person inspires you?

Robert Mansell, assistant managing director of Mansell’s Concrete Premix. A conversation we shared when I first moved here stayed with me. He told me, “PJ, follow your passion and the rest will come to you.” That message guided me toward real estate, which feels like my natural calling.

Favourite local business?

Habibti, Noosa, for its elegant Middle Eastern flavours; Bombay Bliss, Maroochydore, for authentic Indian cuisine that reminds me of home; EyeHub, Buderim, for its strong community focus; and Italian Corner in Forest Glen for pizzas that taste like they belong on the European coast.

Best thing about living on the Coast?

The close-knit, friendly nature of the community. COming from a larger city, the warmth here has been a refreshing change. The year-round great weather also means I can take my custom choppers out whenever the skies allow, storms excluded.

How long have you been a Chamber member?

We’ve only joined recently.

What’s the best thing about being a Chamber member?

The networking opportunities. Being new to the area, it’s been an invaluable platform to build meaningful professional and personal connections.

Favourite ChamberCast with the President and Pep?

Episode 25 with Gina Balarin. As a real-estate professional and digital creator with more than 250,000 followers, I found her insights on authenticity, storytelling and leadership deeply resonated with me. She reinforced the power of genuine communication. This is a value I bring to real estate and digital media.

Favourite Chamber event?

The monthly coffee events. At a recent event, president Brendan Bathersby forgot to introduce me as a new member. We had a good laugh and it reminded me again of how warm and good-natured the community is.

What excites you about the future of the region?

I’m looking forward to the Sunshine Coast Ecological Park project in Maleny. I’ve already registered to volunteer because protecting and celebrating nature aligns strongly with my values.
