My local, Ocean Folk, for coffee in the morning and Point Arkwright for moments of solitude and to watch the turtles.
Which local person inspires you?
You know, it’s less the individuals and more the way that people make eye contact and say “hello”. While we have seen massive changes in the communities of the Coast, I love that I live in a place that feels welcoming.
Favourite local business?
Nothing like an amazing hairdresser! Ashley, of Little Sage @ Doonan, is an appointment I don’t mess with.
Best thing about living on the Sunshine Coast?
Sailing. Being able to jump on a boat and sail out in the bay – that is my happy place. And I get to enjoy it most weeks with a wonderful collection of old salts. It was the lifestyle that brought me here and the lifestyle that keeps me here I am an early bird and most days I’m on the beach to see the sun rise. There is something very special about the beach in the quiet early morning.
