Favourite location on the Sunshine Coast?
You cannot beat Flinders Lane for the best breakfast/brunch on the Coast. Take the classic Mooloolaba Ferry to Pier 33 for a long, lazy lunch overlooking the marina and admiring the beautiful boats and sunset drinks at The Boat Shed, Cotton Tree.
Which local person inspires you?
We are inspired by the many small business owners who pour their passion into the Coast every day. Their resilience, creativity and commitment to community make this region what it is.
Favourite local business?
There are so many to choose from, but we have a soft spot for the hard-working, service-driven operators who know their customers by name and genuinely care about the experience they deliver.
Best thing about living on the Coast?
The boating lifestyle is second to none. With world-class waterways, easy ocean access and a community that genuinely lives life on the water, the Coast offers a superb environment for anyone who loves to cruise, sail, fish or simply explore by boat.
How long have you been a Chamber member?
Six months since moving up to the Coast and taking over Mooloolaba Yacht Brokers.
What’s the best thing about being a Chamber member?
The relationships. Being part of a network that genuinely supports local business, shares knowledge and celebrates each other’s wins is incredibly rewarding.

The networking events where you walk away feeling excited, supported and full of new ideas. It’s a great feeling being in a room with people who love this region as much as we do.
How can the Sunshine Coast be improved?
Continued investment in harbour infrastructure and improved seaway access would significantly enhance safety and usability for all boat owners and the boating community.
What excites you about the future of the region?
The ongoing growth of the Maroochydore CBD and the major infrastructure projects planned for the coming years. These developments will bring new opportunities, strengthen our local economy and help shape a vibrant connected future for the Coast.
Favourite holiday destination?
Sailing through the Whitsundays is a family favourite.
