Where do you live?
Alexandra Headland. I love starting the day with a morning run, followed by a swim at the beach. It’s hard to beat that lifestyle.
Can you tell us about your family?
Sophia (partner) and Vinnie (Golden Retriever). We love spending time outdoors together and making the most of everything the Sunshine Coast has to offer.
Favourite location on the Sunshine Coast?
Coolum Beach. It’s the perfect mix of beautiful scenery, relaxed atmosphere and one of my favourite places to unwind.
Which local person inspires you?
Brendan Hogan, CEO of Wishlist – great passion for what he does and the community. I really admire his leadership and his genuine ability to connect with people on a personal level.
Favourite local business?
Alex Surf Club – no better place for a parma and sunset. It’s one of those iconic local spots that always has a great atmosphere.
Best thing about living on the Coast?
Watching the beach as the sun sets and being part of such a strong local community. The outdoor lifestyle and access to nature every day make it a fantastic place to live.
How long have you been a Chamber member?
Four months. It’s been a fantastic way to become more connected with the local business community.
What’s the best thing about being a Chamber member?
The opportunity to connect with like-minded businesspeople who are passionate about growing their businesses while making a positive impact in the community. I’ve enjoyed learning from others and building genuine relationships.

Episode 1 with Caroline Hutchinson – I love her passion for the Sunshine Coast and the people who call it home. That passion really shines through.
Favourite Chamber event?
Coffee + Connect is always my favourite. It’s relaxed, welcoming and a great opportunity to meet new people and hear what other local businesses are working on.
How can the Sunshine Coast be improved?
As the region continues to grow, I’d love to see more major events across music, sport and the arts that bring the community together and attract visitors to the Coast. It would continue to showcase everything the region has to offer.
What excites you about the future of the region?
The incredible growth opportunities. We’re seeing new housing and thriving businesses and we’re attracting outstanding healthcare professionals – all of which will help shape a strong future for the Sunshine Coast. It’s an exciting time to be building a business here.
